We just had our '50s weatherboard restumped in Ballarat and what an amazing job. Shnai is an amazing communicator and a pleasure to negotiate details with. The 2 gentlemen workers were just that - very respectful of customer and their home. Nothing was too much trouble. They even replaced the temporary cardboard barrier each day around the perimeter that we used to keep our little dogs in and brought our emptied council bins into the yard for us. The clean up after was also very thorough. When leveling they were extremely considerate to achieve the best possible balance between exact level and keeping the amount of plaster damage to a minimum. We recently had our timber home restumped in Dales Creek. Being relatively new to the area we arranged a number of quotes. One particular quote from Vic Metro Underpinning stood out from the others. Joe promptly inspected our home and went through what the re-stumping process would involve. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were very comfortable proceeding with their quote. Shnai and Ella were lovely to deal with and organised all the necessary permits/etc. The works were started and completed with minimal delay, and the transformation was great. Nothing but positives for these guys, Shnai and her contractors provide a second to none service with Shnai being on top of all steps of the process and answering any questions that came up. The group of guys she has working for her are phenomenal and managed to restump my entire house and level the space of a week. I recently had Vic Metro perform underpinning works at my property which from my perspective was extensive in both effort required and financially and therefore not taken lightly. Vic Metro completed the project seemlessly, I was kept up to date at all stages, they arranged all engineering and council permits, insurance and inspections without a hitch. Saade who performed all the on site work was absolutely fantastic, reliable and worked very hard going beyond without question and cleaning up after the work was completed. Vic Metro Underpinning and Restumping are a highly professional business. Shnai and the guys were absolutely amazing. I found that they left the job site as described in the work agreement and that no damage or excess rubble was left behind on site. Vic Metro restumped my house in Maryborough, it is 100+ years old and had no clearance underneath. Barely anything left of the original wooden stumps. Josef and his team worked extremely hard to get the job done, huge amounts of soil needed to be manually dug out, bearers and joists were also replaced. Shnai organised all the paperwork which simplified everything. Very happy with the process and the results. ~ Robert H
